About this Event
Connecticut’s innovative brownfields liability relief programs have become a nationwide example showing how redevelopment of brownfields works to protect the human health and the environment while also creating substantial economic value. These programs can help you to manage the legal risk associated with redeveloping a brownfield project and provide critical funding for the cost of cleanup and assessment.
Have you thought about redeveloping a vacant property, and been scared away by the potential legal liability and the potential cost of cleanup?
Are you interested in brownfield redevelopment but don’t know where to start or who can answer your questions about the process?
Are you an experienced brownfield developer who wants to hear the latest news about brownfield redevelopment in Connecticut?
Are you a developer looking at redeveloping a brownfield site in an Opportunity Zone (OZ) and would like to understand what the benefits from the OZ designation are?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then this program is for you. Come learn more about these programs and have a chance to network with others that are involved with or interested in brownfields redevelopment.
