On the morning of November 19th we decided to make a trip to Manchester to make the most of the gorgeous autumn conditions and a good variety of traffic. The weather was forecasting for cloud and showers but it was totally the opposite, beautiful sunshine. We took the long walk from South Side down to the rotation point where we stayed from 08:00 until 10:30 when runway 23L closed. This is one of two parts from the footage we filmed on the morning. This spotting location is one of our favourite at Manchester and although a long walk there the results are well worth with it. Only a matter of metres from aircraft rotating the sounds and views are incredible.
