Simeon Courtie's first job in television was as a presenter on The Ozone, a pop show made for BBC 2 by Children's BBC. He made several films between May and November 1994 interviewing the likes of Tom Jones and Damon Albarn of Blur. This was just his second outing, karting with Worlds Apart, transmitted in May 1994.
