A recently repaired biodisc sewage treatment plant.
The plant had been flooded by the discharge pump not being set up correctly. This flooding had corroded the pullet, locking mechanism and retaining plates. Subsequently the belt had snapped causing the discs to develop a biomass on one side. it was impossible to rotate the discs by hand.
Repair took a full day including cleaning the discs. As you can see from the after video, it was left working well and has years of life left in it.
