Mistakes are common on the path to discovery. Learn from the past (secondary data) & make new mistakes in the future!
Secondary data is not only where primary research ends, but where all good research should begin! Secondary data refers to data that is collected by someone other than the user and can give us valuable basis for market projections as well as research direction.
Judgmental, selective, or subjective sampling, allows researchers to gleam insights into the market without breaking the bank or stopping time. Several options when choosing members of the population to participate in their study, as such integral to follow/ document a process.
After all if we make a mistake (error) we should A - recognize what we have done B - trace back our process to rectify
As such lets explore the world of Gathering Secondary Data!

My Thoughts about this video
Armed with the theory, the practical business world became more interesting! This topic once more felt dry when I was planning it out, however very rich once I put it together..
This video continues on from Primary Research & the world of research is ever evolving, yet the past has many valuable lessons still to teach. We need to be receptive & skilled to find, learn & share these lessons.
This video, like all in the series is an intro and covers the basics of what is. As such let tis not be the end of your search, but the begin of your learnings.
