This video explains very briefly how to change a polygon in an Altium design.
Polygons are typically a larger area of copper (compared to traces) on a pcb. They can be used for several things:
~ Ground/Power plane
~ Thermal Heatsinking
~ Shielding
~ High current path between components (Source/Sink)
They also (hopefully) ensure a low-inductance path for signals between multiple components.
