Heavy rain lashed Kodaikanal and its surrounding areas on April 28.

Due to the rain that fell for more than two hours, a pleasant atmosphere was created in Kallaraimedu, erichalai, Anandagiri, Anna Road, Moonchikkal and other areas.

Meanwhile, traffic was affected for a while as water gushed on the road near Silver Cascade Falls.
