The New European Bauhaus (NEB) EU initiative aims to start a grassroots movement to involve citizens in the green transition of urban areas, but this can be approached in various ways.
On September 10, 2024, one of the NEB lighthouse projects, the Danish-led Desire - Designing the Irresistible Circular Society, took stock after two years of work. During a panel debate at the sold-out conference in Copenhagen, participants gained insights into the work of Desire, as well as another lighthouse project, NEB-Star, in Stavanger, Norway.
Meet in the panel:
- Peter Andreas Sattrup, Head of Green Transition at NCC
- Helene Eiliott, Innovation Adviser at Stavanger Municipality and partner in NEB-Star
- Diana Krabbendam, Director of The Beach (partner in Desire)
- And Moderator Michael Booth.
Desire is funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or CINEA. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.
