There is nothing I hate worse is a noise from my bike when riding. With my bike having a pressfit bottom bracket I immediately started investigating changing the bottom bracket. I thought before I sent the time and money I would confirm. A trick of mine is WD-40 not to fit but to confirm it is the bottom bracket. I was riding my bike and it started creaking so I stopped and sprayed the BB and started my ride again – nothing… the tone of the creak didn’t change. I stopped again and sprayed the pedal axle bearing area – Bang got it. Again the WD-40 is not to fix only to confirm.
