Here is another footage of AV241 using kickdown, only this time it's using it to climb a very steep hill! It's painfully slow taking off but the kickdown makes up for that. And for a friend of mine who's birthday is today, you'll love the part at 2:30-3:04 where the 3rd gear is stuck due to the steep hill!
This is miraculously still in service! :D
