This is a walk through Princes Street Gardens in the centre of Edinburgh, Scotland. Princes Street Gardens, which used to be The Nor Loch, a moat around Edinburgh Castle, divides Edinburgh's new town and old town. Located opposite Waverley Train Station, Princes Street Gardens is a large, open public space with several monuments, - the largest being the Sir Walter Scott Monument - Ross fountain and Ross Bandstand. There is a keeper's cottage and a large War Memorial and smaller memorials throughout the park. On the west side, there is a playground for children. It is popular on sunny days.
