This is part 1 of my triangle shawl crochet tutorial. It's a fun autumn project for beginners as well as advanced crocheters. Don't be intimidated if you're quite new to crocheting. I walk you through the whole process, which is why there will be 9 parts to this (coming out every Wednesday).

I'm using British crochet terms in this tutorial. If you're used to American terms, all you need to keep in mind is that tr (treble crochet) means dc (double crochet) and dc (double crochet) means (single crochet).

For the more advanced crocheters among you, who may want to jump ahead, here are the time stamps for each row:

Materials: 2:28
Beginning circle: 6:40
Row 1: 7:40
Row 2: 10:00
Row 3: 14:32
Row 4: 19:10
Row 5: 24:55
Row 6: 29:44
Row 7: 36:33
Row 8: 45:36

Materials you need for this project are:

Aran/worsted weight yarn
- 500g - 850m / 1.1lbs - 930yds if using one colour
600g - 1020m / 1.3lbs - 1115yds if using 3 colours

I used Rico Creative Cotton Aran (50g - 85m / 1.76oz - 93yds) in light pistachio, orange and nature: [ Ссылка ]
If you're using 3 colours like I did you'll need about 3 balls in "nature"(or whichever colour you choose, 4 balls in "orange" and 5 balls in "light pistachio"
If you're using the same colour throughout 10 balls should be enough.
