Carl Folke, Stockholm Resilience Centre and the Beijer Institute was truly grateful for all fantastic speakers, and their many different entry points and perspectives. He was also content to conclude that “We don’t argue about the big challenges any longer”. “There is a consensus emerging, that a profound transformation in our relation to the planet we’re living on is deeply required”. He continued: “We as scientists have a critical role to play in active collaboration with other key actors”. He also thanked the whole production team and everybody who made the science sessions and the whole Summit possible.

The Nobel Prize Summit 2021 brough together Nobel Prize laureates, scientists, policymakers, business leaders, and youth leaders to explore what can be achieved to put the world on a path to a more sustainable, more prosperous future for all of humanity.
