What is a Whiplash Injury?
Also referred to as cervical acceleration-deceleration syndrome (CAD), whiplash affects the neck and cervical spine. It is the sudden jerking of the neck which causes pain, stiffness & inflammation. The impact causes the upper vertebrae to over-flex & the vertebrae in the lower area of the neck to overextend.

- Rest
- Hot & Cold Therapy
- Neck Brace
- Physical Therapy

Why Wear a Neck Brace?
A neck brace, also known as a cervical collar, can keep your head stable as you recover. Neck braces are ideal for whiplash injuries because they limit the range of motion, reduce pain & support the jaw and neck.
