This video explores how Egypt and in the past colonial powers have kept Ethiopia and other riparian countries in poverty by denying them their rights to utilize their own natural resources. I have covered in depth what as Ethiopians we need to understand as we fight to complete the dam and bring Ethiopia out of darkness and to some extent to understand at least one factor that has kept us in poverty. Its time for Ethiopia to stop being a beggar and start helping ourselves to become self sufficient and GERD is one big step in the right direction.
