Hey guys!!
I rated each country based on the song(50%) and their performance on the ESC stage(50%). I marked the songs' quality based on my personal taste which, if you rank them, they pretty much shape my pre-show top (although in my pre-show I rated 75% based on song and 25% based on potential). On the other hand, I marked the staging and performance of the artists as objectively as I could based on the following aspects: direction, vocals, choreography, visuals, artists' aesthetic appearance, charisma, stage usage.
Combining both the song and the performance gives the final rate, for instance: If an entry had 78% in song quality and 74% in performance success, then the overall mark for that country would be 78+74 / 2 = 76%!! You will see that in some occasions, two or more countries score the same mark. For example, there might be two countries that scored 76%. In that case, the country that had the better song percentage, is ranked higher than the other. In chances where two or more countries have the EXACT same percentage in song and performance, then the tie breaker is based on the official final results of Eurovision(although for me, any one of them could easily take the place of the other).
You can't even imagine how many countries scored the same overall percentage in this top... it make me feel really sad when they are ranked lower just because of tie breakers or even because they have 0,5% difference between them. So guys, please, before coming to conclusions, make the math yourself and figure out the overall score of each country! You will realize how close are with each other!! ;-)
Thank you and I hope you'll enjoy the video! :)
