These healthy old fashioned fig bars are my favorite! The fig bar recipe I’m about to share is super simple, vegan, and healthier than most fig bars and fig newton bars on the market. You will need a few ingredients and 15-20 minutes.
Dough:
150g oat flour
100g peanut flour
1tbsp coconut oil (10ml)
2-3 tbsp (50g) tahini butter
2-3 tbsp (50g) rice syrup
100ml plant milk
A pinch of salt
Fig paste:
200g figs (dried, soaked in boiling water)
50ml water from the figs
10g carob
20g tahini
