CHANTILLY FROSTING INGREDIENTS:
1 cup granulated sugar
4 egg yolks
1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter
1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
1.) On medium heat, melt butter. Add in evaporated milk and sugar. Mix until sugar has dissolved.
2.) Then turn heat to LOW and add in the egg yolks. Mix continuously for 20 min or until it starts to thicken.
3.) Once consistency is thicker, add in the vanilla extract and stir.
4.) Transfer frosting into a heat proof bowl and set it in fridge for at least 4-5 hours. The longer the better.

UBE CUPCAKE INGREDIENTS:
1 cup cake flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup ube halaya
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup canola oil
1 tbsp ube flavoring

Directions:
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES
1.) Mix dry ingredients together - cake flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk to combine well.
2.) In a separate bowl, add the ube halaya. Add the eggs, sugar, oil, and ube extract. Mix thoroughly.
3.) Slowly add in a spoonful of dry ingredients to ube mixture and stir with a whisk. Continue adding dry ingredients until it's all incorporated.
4.) Line cupcake molds with liner. Use an ice cream scooper to pour batter into cupcake pan.
5.) Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 min.
6.) Once it's done baking, insert a toothpick in the middle of the cupcake, it should come out clean. If not, then bake for a few more min.
7.) Set cupcakes aside to cool completely.
8.) After 4-5 hours, transfer the frosting into a piping bag. Frost each cupcake and enjoy!
