This sura teaches that all human beings are in loss, except those who have iman (faith in Islam), do righteous deeds and remind others of the Haqq (truth, rights, reality) and remind others of Sabr (patience).
What is the lesson of Surah Al-Asr?
Mankind is at great loss when it comes to valuing time. Only those who believe, do good deeds and encourage each other in the truth and in patience are saved from loss. After Īmān, doing good deeds, and encouraging each other in goodness and patience is extremely important.
