Disruptive, climate-induced events have deep impacts on societies and economies, exacerbating the vulnerability of low-income households and, in particular, of those living in informal settlements and/or working in the informal economy.
Drawing upon the experiences of four local NGOs funded by Cities Alliance Innovation Programme and working to improve the climate resilience of vulnerable communities, this conversation focused on new climate adaptation approaches built upon Public Community Partnerships and with the potential to catalyse transformational change in cities.
