Alan Dart was 4 years old when war was declared. He lived in London during when the Blitz hit and his house in Kentish Town was bombed. He was sent to school in Brighton and here he recounts his sister's near-miss when the school was bombed. As young children, they thought it was all a bit of an adventure, but looking back, they had to deal with the trauma of war.
