We were delighted to welcome everyone to Clontuskert National School’s Christmas Carol Service at St. Augustine's Parish Church on Thursday 12th December 2024.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Finneran for graciously allowing us to use Clontuskert’s beautiful church. Our gratitude also goes to Clontuskert Parents Association for lighting up the church with such splendid Christmas lights.

A special thank you to Debbie Broderick for her efforts in cleaning the church, and to Frances Turley, Marie Egan, and the Pastoral Council for preparing the church and ensuring it was warm for our practices.

We are especially grateful to Eimíl Scott, Sarah Gallagher, and Sophie Brunnbauer for their exceptional musical direction, arrangement, and accompaniment and to Ben Parker of Music Generation Galway for his work on our finale.

We appreciate Nicola Egan, Shane Gohery, Teresa Nevin, Avril Kane, Laura Naughton and Kate Murray for organising the children tonight. Our thanks go to Fiona Roche, Deirdre Tully, Sarah Skehill, Noreen Ward and Sorcha Jane Ward for their support in the run-up to the concert. Additionally, we thank Mary Callaghan and Lydia Whyte for putting up the student artwork this week.

To all the students, we are incredibly proud of your hard work and dedication. From the leadership shown by our senior students to your excellent conduct during rehearsals, you have all been outstanding.

The Carol Service was a wonderful festive night. Thank you to everyone for their support of our wonderful special school in Clontuskert.
