I myself have thought, upon merely looking at a game: “THE GAME IS SO BEAUTIFUL… IT MUST BE GOOD!” Whether or not the game is actually as good as it looks is irrelevant. The fact remains, artwork and component quality probably have the greatest impact on board game sales.
In this video, I won’t just show you 5 games with stunning component design, but we’ll talk about what it MEANS for a game to be “beautiful” and how much of an impact a game’s looks should have on a game’s overall popularity.
