Microbes may be invisible to the naked eye, but these organisms could hold solutions for climate change and better health outcomes. In this short clip, QUT’s Professor Gene Tyson outlines the internationally renowned microbial research he’s doing at TRI. His work encompasses both the role microbes in the environment as well as our gut. We also hear from the CEO of the company Prof Tyson co-founded, Microba Life Sciences. Microba is a precision, microbiome company, which is “improving human lives through precision microbiome science”. In this video, the CEO talks about their potential new microbe-based treatments for inflammatory bowel disease and cancer.
