Uganda’s public debt at 68 trillion shillings about (55% Debt to GDP ratio) coupled with emerging spending pressures, aimed at containing and shielding the economy from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, is according to debt experts worrying and advise government to intensify policies aimed at reducing deficits and accumulation of debt.
