Addressing a programme at the BJP headquarters in Delhi after the massive victory in the Haryana elections, PM Modi hailed the recent elections in Jammu and Kashmir as historic, marking the first fully constitutional elections post the abrogation of Article 370. He celebrated the participation of many citizens who, for the first time in seven decades, were able to vote. Contrary to predictions of chaos, he noted that Kashmir has flourished and voters turned out in record numbers.
