During PM rush hour, some Q trains and one W train begins service at 86th Street on the N line. The regular PM rush hour W train was the last W train shown, while the first three W trains began service at 86th Street at an early time to prepare regular W train service schedule during the end of its midday G.O.
NOTE:
Due to midday track replacement, there was no W train service between Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard and 57th Street-7th Avenue. W trains ran every 20 minutes between 96th Street-2nd Avenue and Whitehall Street. As an alternative, use N train service.
