Last week, I ran into a problem where I tried to print MIDI audio to an audio track in Studio One 6, but couldn’t find the solution. I hadn’t programmed MIDI, otherwise, it’s very easy to use the ‘Bounce Selection’ option. In this video, I explain how to print your audio from a MIDI instrument even if you don’t have any MIDI notes programmed—perfect for situations like working with plugins such as some of the Reason+ plugins I use, where sounds are looped. This method can be applied to any other plugin, even if you’ve programmed MIDI.
