We are building a 6ft x 16ft walnut table and a 4ft x 10ft table using the Domino XL700. We struggled tremendously to get the Dominos to align during assembly. There is one little hidden secret with the Domino machine that makes assembly along a long surface very simple. It’s the selector for the width of the slot!!!!! After discovering this secret we reduced our assembly time from 4 hours to 35 minutes on a 4ft x 10ft table. *** THEN and ONLY AFTER this learning curve we found a Festool Live clip which references this secret — so we included it in our video as well.
