I bought a wrecked Tesla Model 3 RWD that is the twin to one I waited 2 and a half years for. The auction we bought the car from said it didn't come with a key. We were very worried as we knew getting a Model 3 key to a salvaged vin was untested waters. Low and behold we found the credit card sized key sitting right on the floorboard! The auction house probably was clueless that this little piece of plastic was in fact the key.
