Heavy snow covered the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Caribou, Maine, early on Sunday morning, March 24, as the service forecast additional snowfall for nearby counties.

“We had very little snow on the ground when the event started. Now the office yard looks like it does on an average winter day!”, the NWS office said.
