Another short knot tutorial for all you climbers, cavers, rope techs and knot-geeks! This one covers how to tie a barrel knot, there are loads of applications but this is the knot I most commonly use to safegaurd against abseiling off the end of my rope when caving, multipitch abbing or working at height on rope systems.
