Namchi police have taken note of the audio clip doing rounds purportedly of a woman claiming to be an eye-witness of the Gurung being assaulted on the night in which his body was recovered from near a drain.
The Special Investigating Team of Sikkim Police which questioned the woman in question and some juvenile witnesses associated with the incident, said that the incident being discussed in the audio clip pertains to another incident which has happened on the same night and in the same area.
