Today we will go through questions and problems dedicated to How to Translate Geometric Objects: how to find coordinates of the vector of translation, how to find magnitude of the vector of translation
This geometry video tutorial will have a focus on translations related to geometric objects. Reflections, enlargements and rotations of geometric figures such as triangles, quadrilaterals and compound shapes we will consider in the following videos. Transformations include horizontal and vertical translations, while other types of transformations like reflection about a line of symmetry such as the x-axis, y-axis and origin as well as rotating a figure and also enlargements with respect to the centre of enlargement we will consider later on.
This principles can be applicable to functions (straight line function and quadratic functions) when transforming it. Make sure you watched translations of quadratic functions:
