An emergency warning has been issued for parts of Brisbane after intense rainfall caused flash flooding across Queensland.

Some areas recorded up to 150mm of rain on Monday, with Kingaroy receiving 82mm in just one hour.

Residents in Kingaroy have been urged to “watch and act” as conditions remain dangerous.

Severe damage to infrastructure has been reported in the affected areas, including two major intersections in the city.
