So long as you follow the skill order shown in the video, you should be able to loop even with NP1 Muramasa. The reason for using the np gain skill of Mystic code on turn 2 is that Muramasa gets arts buff for 3 turns which activates before his NP, so on turn 2 NP, he has 2 arts buffs from his np which combined with the mc np gain skill guarantees 100% NP refund. If you were to use the np gain on turn 1, there is a very high chance he'll end up not refunding complete 100% NP.

First Ascension is my favourite but since it's winter, he'll wear something comfy for the meantime.
