This evening Matt Elder will be preaching on 'Faith Brings Triumph As Well As Trial' from Hebrews 11: 32-40 - Would you say your faith has been full of triumphant victories for God, or regular trials and hardship? The original readers of Hebrews would have been quick to say that they belonged in the latter category - they were worn down and often tempted to pack it in altogether! And that's why we, today, also need these final verses in Hebrews 11: we need to be reminded to expect both triumphs and trials in a life of faith with God.
