Cubone and Marowak were introduced in generation 1 of Pokemon [Red and Blue]. In generation 7 [Sun and Moon], Marowak was given a regional form native to the Alola region. As it turns out, Alolan Marowak shares a neat property with Eevee's eight evolutions.
