Pani Poori Recipe
Masala water
Ingredients:-
Mint - 2 bunches
Coriander- 1 bunch
Green chillies- 6
Ginger- 1 inch
Black salt - 1 tsp
Cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Pepper powder- 1 tsp
Jaggery- 1 tsp
Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
Salt - Pinch
Tamarind pulp - 1 cup
Water - 1 litre
Method:-
Add mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger, black salt, cumin powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, jaggery, dry mango powder, chaat masala, salt and make a fine paste out of it.
Then add chilled water, and dilute as per taste.
Ragada Curry
Ingredients:-
Dried Peas/ Batani - 1 cup(soak them overnight)
Green chillies- 2
Onion- 1/2
Coriander leaves- few sprigs
Turmeric- 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - Pinch
Cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala - Pinch
Salt - To taste
Method:-
Firstly wash and soak dried yellow peas. Then add them to a pressure cooker add pinch of turmeric and cook till softly boiled. The transfer into a bowl , add chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt, chilli, coriander, raw onions and mix it well.
Poori:
Sooji - 1 cup
Wheat flour- 1 tb spn
Soda - Pinch
Water - 1/2 cup
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl and knead it well. Rest it for 30 minutes and make a roti and cut out small pooris out the roti.
Deep fry in medium hot oil .
You can use store bought pooris and fry them.
