After hearing from four different medical teams in the ICU that there was nothing more they could do to save Timmy’s life, I knew the only thing left to do was to pray for a miracle and be 100% open to one happening.

After 30 years of working alongside of medical teams like the ones rounding at my husbands bedside, I knew full well the words they were telling me and the hopelessness they felt for my husband’s ability to pull through.

After the room cleared out giving the girls and I time with Timmy alone, I told them to speak to his spirit loud and clear. Our youngest’s parting words were…”You have to fight daddy!” I told him that I was giving him full freedom to go in the direction he was ready to fly.

Tim can’t recall where he went or what happened while he was ‘there’…but it is clear what decision he made and he has been flying ever since! He keeps beating the odds and the timelines and surprising those who are watching over his care.

Yesterday he told me he wants to stay here…in this realm…to continue the work of restoring and healing the land we call home. And he is fully aware that he has to do it differently than he’s been doing it up until his diagnosis came in June.
