Joanna Young, a business leader, speaks about the necessity of failing in order to achieve success.
Joanna Young is the current Execution Strategy Supervisor of Philip Morris Fortune Tobacco Corporation (PMFTC Inc.) Her fast progression & multiple roles have since increased her competency in marketing and sales strategy, communication, customer relations, and leadership. Her diverse business background is made up of experience in both a start-up and a multinational company, and cross-functional roles in and outside the FMCG industry.
Aside from this, Joanna is a part-time faculty member in the Ateneo de Manila University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2012. She has also co-authored a book called Working with Labor Laws, contributing greatly to the academe at age 23.
As she continues to thrive in competitive environments, Joanna has failed enough times to realize that success cannot be attained without the onset of failure. Moreover, she emphasizes that it is never about failure or success per se, but about that all-important in-between and our reactions that ultimately define us.

Joanna Young, as she continues to thrive in competitive environments, has failed enough times in the past that she was able to build a work ethic that will always make for a worthy champion. Despite the fact that success has become the forefront of every action people do today, Joanna Young was able to see that there was not enough materials that teach about the necessity of failing. This observation from her of the world propelled her to be the instrument herself, as she now continuously reminds everyone to embrace failure and move forward.
