This super slim recessed 11W Type IC rated fixture is only 1/2 of an inch thick, able to fit in tightest of spots, and can be installed even under joists.

That’s right - there is no need for cans and octagon boxes as all Lotus fixtures employ the original design-patented external driver-connection box! The cut out diameter is 4 1/4" to 4 ½”. Being a damp location certified fixture, soffits are a good installation spot, as well as basements, living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms, where space above and or access are an issue. In the case there is
no space next to the fixture for the driver/connection box or you want low voltage wiring in the ceiling, extension cables of 10 feet can be used to mount the drivers remotely up to 40 feet in an easily accessible location. The fixture gives out 700 lumen on the 3000 kelvin option and 730 lumen on the 4100 kelvin option with 110 degrees wide light beam distribution, which is equivalent to 65W halogen fixtures. The 120V driver version is dimmable, while the 277V/347V drivers’ option are not dimmable.

In the case where the fixtures must be installed in bigger existing ceiling round openings, one can use the 4” goof ring to cover diameters up to 5 3/4”.

For new construction installations, the 4” Rough-in plates are a great time-saving accessory.

The available trim colour is White.

The 4” super thin economy line fixtures are UL and Energy Star certified. They come with 5 year limited warranty and are rated for 36,000 hours average life.
