We are standing right on top of the River Thames at Blackfriars station where Thameslink Trains run (also a few extra Southeastern Services in the peak).
The day I was recording this, there were no trains running between St Pancras and Blackfriars. Therefore, no through trains are shown in this video. To make up for it however, we went to see some District and Circle Line trains. Bizzarely, while we were there we saw a District line train that was meant to go to Barking. However, it changed to 'Not in Service' just before it entered the station so it did not stop. Thameslink are surprisingly frequent at Blackfriars. I saw a train every 5 - 10 minutes. If it was when the through trains were running, they would probably be running at 3 - 5 minute intervals.
