For the second time in May, RSG worked 6z53 on a 334 Juniper EMU from Glasgow Works to Brodie Works, Bonnyton, Kilmarnock., this time with 334030.
During the last run I managed to cock up the run through my home village of Kilmaurs, so I was determined not to miss out this time. So, on a beautiful May day, the amazing Deltic Royal Scots Grey, powered through Kilmaurs with tones from the driver, and this time I got it!
The lush looking lineside hedges and bushes make the station surroundings look very good and the huge Deltic seems to be squeezing through them! The bird chorus is also in full voice
