If you’ve signed a Client Services Agreement that says “the client has the right to make changes to the scope of work” - BEWARE!
This means that the client can unilaterally change the scope and you would be *required* to do the changes…and likely without any adjustment to your fees or timeline.
Your Client Services Agreement needs to be clear that any scope changes by the client are *requests* that you have the right to accept or reject - and not unilateral *requirements*. And that your CSA includes the right for you as the consultant to require fee and/or timeline changes.
