Actor Roy Dotrice was to attend Alpha: 2012, a Space: 1999 Event. However, because of a work commitment, he was forced to cancel his appearance. Mr. Dotrice played the character of Commissioner Gerald Simmonds and appeared in two episodes. This video, although probably not the final video, would have been his introduction into the convention.
