The wife and I are headed to the beautiful hill country for a fun kayaking adventure and overnight camping. Our destination is the crystal-clear blue waters of the Frio River in Concan Tx. The Frio River is a spring-fed 200 mile stretch of beautiful clear water that carves through a spectacular landscape of the hills, small waterfalls, and huge cypress trees. We paddle upriver to a spot where the river splits and camp out on a rocky island for the night. The island was a killer spot! White river stones and sand covered the island while the trees and hills camouflage our luxurious campsite.
Our Frio River trip was such an amazing experience. It was definitely one of our best camping trips.
