Fort Munro | 2nd Largest Steel Bridge Of The World On N70 Highway From Balochistan To Peshawar
Fort Monroe's beautiful steel bridge road is 33 km long from Rakhi Gaaj to Bwat, made in collaboration with Japan in Dera Ghazi Khan. It is the second largest steel bridge in the world. Work on the construction project began in 2017. With the hard work of engineers and workers, this masterpiece came into being and the whole world envies it.
The bridge, which is constructed with the help of the guards, also has the potential to resist the weather and will not need to be maintained for 75 years. A protective wall has also been constructed along with bridges to prevent the sliding. It was extremely difficult for traffic from Dera Ghazi Khan to traffic and face to face trucks from the front. The one -sided road has now been turned into a road and from here the trucks and trailers will pass at 40 km speed. According to the NHA, the bridges are 100 years. If caution is taken and overloading on the passing traffic, the expiry of these bridges will increase further.
