A massive fire broke out at Sector 53 furniture market here on Tuesday at around 10 am.

Panic gripped shopkeepers in the area, while fire brigade personnel rushed to douse the blaze.

The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained and no casualties have been reported so far.
