San Gimignano is well know for it's leather goods, beautiful views of Tuscany and the best Gelato in the world.

It's similar to Lucca, but it's slightly bigger. The leather goods here are often better quality than what you will find in Lucca.

One thing to consider when you arrive, there are lots of leather shops, so don't buy the first thing you see. Walk around, look at what's on offer and then go back and make your purchases.

I found this little store called 'Unusual Shoes'. They have beautiful leather boots. So much so, that it was hard for me to choose which pair to buy.
